Why I'm Running
Montebello gave me my education, my mentors, my first opportunities to serve, and a community that believed in me long before I believed in myself.
Today, I own a home here. I own a small business here. My family is here. And like so many residents, I hope to raise a family of my own here one day, in the same community that shaped me.
I’m running because I believe every generation deserves the same opportunity to build a life in the city we love. That means keeping Montebello a place where families can put down roots, where young people can return after college, and where growing older doesn’t mean being priced out of the neighborhood you helped build.
Our community is growing and changing. As new development arrives and new opportunities emerge, we have a responsibility to ensure Montebello grows with its residents, not around them.
I believe local government should be visible, accountable, and present in every neighborhood.
That’s the leadership I’ll bring to City Hall.
My Priorities
Protect Montebello's Neighborhoods While Planning for Growth
Growth should strengthen our community—not replace it. I'll advocate for thoughtful, community-centered development that reflects residents' voices, protects neighborhood character, and creates opportunities that benefit the people who already call Montebello home.
Support Seniors and Caregivers
Every family deserves dignity as loved ones age. I'll work to establish a Montebello Senior and Aging Commission so seniors, caregivers, and aging families finally have a dedicated voice in City Hall and access to the resources they deserve.
Champion Small Businesses and Working Families
As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges entrepreneurs face. I'll support local businesses, advocate for our renters and working families, and help create an economy where people can continue building their future in Montebello.
Make City Hall More Accessible
Representation doesn't happen only around elections and does not stop after Election Day. I'll hold regular District 5 office hours, communicate openly with residents, and ensure every constituent knows they have a councilmember who listens, responds, and shows up.
Invest in the Next Generation
Our schools, youth organizations, and community programs helped shape my life. I’ll continue partnering with Montebello Unified, local nonprofits, and youth organizations to expand opportunities for young people and ensure the next generation has every chance to succeed.
I also know that Montebello does its best work when it doesn’t work alone. I’ll build strong partnerships with our County Supervisor, our state legislators including Senator Bob Archuleta and Assemblymember Mark González, our federal representatives, and neighboring electeds to bring resources, funding, and opportunity home to Montebello. Our residents deserve leaders who can open doors at every level of government and deliver real results for our community. Montebello has been part of every chapter of my life.
I know its strengths, I understand its challenges.
And I believe our best days are still ahead.
Together, we can build a Montebello that honors its history, invests in its people, and creates opportunities for generations to come.

Por qué me postulo
Montebello me dio mi educación, mis mentores, mis primeras oportunidades de servir y una comunidad que creyó en mí mucho antes de que yo creyera en mí mismo.
Hoy soy dueño de una casa aquí. Soy dueño de un pequeño negocio aquí. Mi familia está aquí. Y como tantos residentes, espero algún día formar mi propia familia aquí, en la misma comunidad que me formó.
Me postulo porque creo que cada generación merece la misma oportunidad de construir una vida en la ciudad que amamos. Eso significa mantener a Montebello como un lugar donde las familias puedan echar raíces, donde los jóvenes puedan regresar después de la universidad, y donde envejecer no signifique que los precios lo saquen del barrio que usted ayudó a construir.
Nuestra comunidad está creciendo y cambiando. Conforme llega nuevo desarrollo y surgen nuevas oportunidades, tenemos la responsabilidad de asegurar que Montebello crezca con sus residentes, no alrededor de ellos.
Creo que el gobierno local debe ser visible, debe rendir cuentas y debe estar presente en cada barrio.
Ese es el liderazgo que llevaré al Ayuntamiento.
Mis prioridades
Proteger los barrios de Montebello mientras planeamos el crecimiento
El crecimiento debe fortalecer a nuestra comunidad, no reemplazarla. Voy a impulsar un desarrollo bien pensado y centrado en la comunidad, que refleje la voz de los residentes, proteja el carácter de nuestros barrios y cree oportunidades que beneficien a quienes ya llaman hogar a Montebello.
Apoyar a las personas mayores y a los cuidadores
Toda familia merece dignidad conforme sus seres queridos envejecen. Trabajaré para crear una Comisión de Personas Mayores y Envejecimiento de Montebello, para que las personas mayores, los cuidadores y las familias que envejecen por fin tengan una voz dedicada en el Ayuntamiento y acceso a los recursos que merecen.
Defender a los pequeños negocios y a las familias trabajadoras
Como dueño de un pequeño negocio, entiendo los retos que enfrentan los emprendedores. Apoyaré a
los negocios locales, defenderé a nuestros inquilinos y familias trabajadoras, y ayudaré a crear una economía donde la gente pueda seguir construyendo su futuro en Montebello.
Hacer que el Ayuntamiento sea más accesible
La representación no ocurre solo en época de elecciones ni termina el Día de las Elecciones. Ofreceré horarios de atención regulares en el Distrito 5, me comunicaré abiertamente con los residentes y me aseguraré de que cada vecino sepa que tiene un concejal que escucha, que responde y que está presente.
Invertir en la próxima generación
Nuestras escuelas, organizaciones juveniles y programas comunitarios ayudaron a formar mi vida. Seguiré colaborando con Montebello Unified, con organizaciones locales sin fines de lucro y con organizaciones juveniles para ampliar las oportunidades de los jóvenes y asegurar que la próxima generación tenga toda oportunidad de salir adelante.
También sé que Montebello hace su mejor trabajo cuando no trabaja sola. Formaré alianzas sólidas con nuestro Supervisor del Condado, con nuestros legisladores estatales —incluidos el Senador Bob Archuleta y el Asambleísta Mark González—, con nuestros representantes federales y con los funcionarios electos de las ciudades vecinas, para traer recursos, fondos y oportunidades a Montebello. Nuestros residentes merecen líderes que puedan abrir puertas en todos los niveles de gobierno y entregar resultados reales para nuestra comunidad.
Montebello ha sido parte de cada capítulo de mi vida.
